So far, I've lost over 100 pounds thanks to gastric bypass surgery and a very disciplined diet. In this journey, I've found that my old cooking habits simply have not served me well. I was used to cooking big meals, with big portions. But now, with a tiny stomach pouch, big portions simply aren't working. I've had to adapt not only the way I eat, but also the way I cook. Here are some recipes that are high in protein, high in flavor, and low in portions. No sense in letting good food go to waste!
I am not a medical professional. I am not a chef. I do not count calories, or grams of fat. I try to eat high-protein meals, in small quantities. So far, things are working out.
Why the blog? Quite a few people have asked me for my recipes, which I have scaled down significantly because I hate to waste food.
